***NOTE: We are pleased to announce that Telemedicine Visits are now available at Monarch Dermatology
Telemedicine is a virtual audio and video conference between you and your physician. Most smartphones and computers with cameras are capable of accomplishing a telemedicine visit for our practice (iPhones only for now, Android access should be available in 1-2 weeks). See instructions in the following link on how to use each method.
Telemedicine: Guide to Getting Started
Please be aware that virtual visits will be billed to your medical health insurance just as they would for an in-person office visit. If your insurance has recently changed, please have that information ready to provide to our team members. Depending on your insurance plan, you may have financial obligations such as co-pays, deductibles, and co-insurance just as you would for an in-office visit.
A Notice to Patients RE: Coronavirus (COVID-19)
We are closely monitoring the community outbreaks of 2019 novel coronavirus (COVID-19) and ask that all patients note the advisories below.
Out of an abundance of caution and in the best interest of our patients, the community, and our staff - as of March 16th, Monarch Dermatology and Eyelid & Facial Plastic Surgery will be rescheduling non urgent elective patient care. You will be contacted by a member of our team if your appointment will need to be rescheduled. For any questions regarding an upcoming appointment, please call 732-739-3223.
Any patient who is coughing or shows other signs of illness at their appointment will be asked to leave.
Due to the coronavirus (COVID-19), we have revised our visitor policies in order to keep our patients, families and staff safe. While we understand the important role that family members and visitors play in a patient’s care, our goal is to keep a safe environment for all.
● As of March 16, we are no longer allowing visitors to accompany patients until further notice.
● Exceptions will be made for pediatric patients and others requiring an aide or additional assistance.
● Any visitor who is coughing or shows other signs of illness will be asked to leave.
We thank you for your cooperation in implementing these safety measures. You can find additional information on COVID-19 on the CDC website.
